Super computers

Super computer can be simply built by Clustering. But it is not as simple as said because of the need for high computing power; the third powerful supercomputer consists of 1100 dual processor Apple comp u t e r s. It was clocked in 10.3 teraflops /sec. Another system to consider is a Television sized model consisting of 1000 CPU s based on Power PC processor. Interestingly, it also lays foundation for gaming consoles from Nintendo and Sony. Sony’s Cell processor, the heart of the PS 3, is claimed as a supercomputer on a chip.
