CD getting replaced.
InterTrust,a company specialized in Digital Rights management software, and Data- Play, are on t he brink of releasing a new product that replaces the CD. Many music distribution companies such as Universal, EMI and BMG were planning to release prerecorded music on DataPlay digital media. It is estimated that the new media was able to store about 11 hours of music, which is ultimately much greater than current CD capacities. Going with the price the blank media would be priced at around $5 and $10, while the pre-recorded will wore more or less the current CD price.
